*The term jutsu* mean technique. Jutsu are the various attacks and abilities that ninjas use.**

Jutsus come in seferal variaties. There are Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Fuuinjutsu, Doujutsu, and Juinjutsu. Most jutsu are activated by concentrating and amount of chakra and releasing it by preforming certain hand seals. However, there are always exceptions. Taijutsu, for example, dose not require hand seals. Jutsus are also categorized by ranks E, D, C, B, A, and S. Jutsu Ranks E-rank These are academy student level jutsu. These skills are mainly just simple tracks that every ninja should know. Likewise, it is usualy required to know these skills to graduate from the ninja academy. Examples: • Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) • Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) • Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement technique) • Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Consealment) • Nawanuke no Jutsu (Skill of Escaping) D-rank These are simple techniques that most Genin are capable of learning. A few academy students can even learn these jutsu. Examples: • Jujin Bunshin (Beast Human Clone) • Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell) • Konoha Senpuu (Leaf Whirlwind) • Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker) • Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique) C-rank Mostly high Genin, low Chunnin level techniques. Examples: • Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu (Fire Element: Great Fireball) • Shishi Rendan (Lion Combo) • Gatsuga (Double Piercing Fang) • Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Replication) • Kyuichose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique) B-rank Mostly high Chuunin, low Jounin level techniques. Examples: • Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Replication) • Kirikiri Mai (Dance of Quick Decapitation) • Konbi Henge no Jutsu (Combined Transformation) • Katon: Gamayu Endan (Fire Element: Toad Oil Flamethrower) • Suiton: Suiryudan no Jutsu (Water Element: Water Dragon Bullet) A-rank These are high jounin level techniques. These justu take alot of skill to fully master. Examples: • Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere) • Chidori (Thousand Birds) • Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Element: Great Waterfall) • Mikazuki no Mai (Dance of the Crescent Moon) • Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu (Healing Resuscitation Regeneration) S-rank These are extremely high level techniques that are known to very few shinobi. Most of these are also Kinjutsu (forbidden techniques).
